What kind of tackle/bait do i use to fish bluegill, black crappie, channel catfish, carp and black bass?

Im new to this fishing stuff and want to start to learn with my little brother.
Anyways….
i found out what kind of fish the local lake where i live has,
bluegill, black crappie, channel catfish, carp and black bass.

My question is what kind of tackle/bait do i need to fish these fish?

Im not going to buy the stuff right away and go fishing. I just want to educate myself first then go fishing :) .

Here are some websites you can check out that will outline the basics:

      1. Basic’s- http://www.angelfire.com/ia3/fishing/

      2. Bass fishing- http://www.bassresource.com/

      3. Catfishing- http://www.learntocatchcatfish.....adio-ep-10

      4. Crappie- http://www.basspro.com/webapp/.....ctID=29704

      5. Carp- http://ezinearticles.com/?Basi.....id=1605016

A good starter rod and reel for most of those fish would be:

      1. 6′, MH, 1-piece, Ugly Stik Lite rod- http://www.basspro.com/Shakesp.....6669/90243

      2. Pflueger, Trion GX-7 Spinning reel- http://www.basspro.com/Pfluege.....LL_PRODUCT

You can purchase much more expensive rods/reels, but, this is fine for a person just starting out in a Freshwater environment.

      Hope this helps?

Well it’s not that easy to just cast. And pull up a reccord fish you have to locate the fish. For all these fish anything that looks like minnows work remeber a those fancy jigs and crap don’t work use shiny lures there more linley to grab a silver fish not a orange peice of metal. Bluegill will eat anything at all crappies are usually caught when spawning now and carp eat bread balls. Black bass are for people who think there pros when they don’t relize black bass live in the ocean as for largemouth bass lures work. Channel cats are completly different for them rig a sinker and a hook with a hotdog they hunt by smell

Night Crawlers are definetly the best any fish will love them
