what do you think of this reel for catfishing?

i’m going for catfish up to 20lbs and was wondering if this reel called the "Abu Garcia EON 5600 Ambassadeur" could hold up to the challange. The reel holds mono line up to 12 lbs but i’m spooling it with 30# braid. the reel has a 6.2:1 gear ratio and i’m just curious if any of you guys have dealt with this reel before and if you think it can handle a big catfish? thanks and good fishing (:

It should be way more than enough to catch catfish. I’ve used these reels for saltwater fishing. I’ve caught Spotted bay bass, Barred Sand Bass, Calico Bass, Croakers, smaller sized Bat Rays, and alot other fish. You just gotta be patient when you have a big one on and a lotta timing when to pull.
