   @ZachmanTheFisherman – The BCX reels are not good. It’s probably halfway decent for the price, but if that’s what you’re willing to pay, then the BassPro CatMaxx line is far superior & is even be a few bucks cheaper.

   I have landed 150 pound gar on the 6600 and it worked perfect and you should try braided line it seems to work better on the 6600
